Stress Relaxation Test System

This is a testing machine capable of continuously performing both compressive and tensile stress relaxation tests using dedicated rigs. This innovative tester was developed by the Swedish company Elastocon after many years of research, became the basis for current ISO standards, and is widely used in Europe. Rigs for compressive stress relaxation testing in liquids are also available, allowing for continuous and direct measurement of stress relaxation at a set test temperature. 

Rig

The rig has two types: one for compression testing and another for tensile testing. By attaching a cup for liquid immersion testing, underwater compression and tensile tests can be performed.

Oven

This is a cell-type oven with completely independent chambers, designed to maintain multiple rigs stably at a constant temperature for an extended period. It can also be used as an oven for thermal aging tests.

Software

Measurement data from tensile and compressive stress relaxation tests is displayed in a graph in real time, and the relaxation index F/Fo is calculated automatically. The measurement data can be saved to a text file using the export function.
